March two minute update
Annual return e-filing – you’re good to go!
We've been testing e-filing Annual Returns with the Companies Office with a small group of firms and are ready to make this widely available. We've kept this to filing annual returns only at the moment, those requiring any changes still need be made through the Companies Office website.
Keep watch over the next few months as we expand this to support filings for companies with extensive shareholder filings and with changes to make with the Companies Office.
If you're interested in e-filing please follow the instructions outlined Below:
Or, if you prefer, you can join a demonstration webinar at either 9.30am Tuesday 4th April or 10.30amFriday 7th. To join, please email your preferred time to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll respond with the login details.
Ability to manage more entity types and individuals
As previously mentioned, we're expanding to support other types of client including JV's, partnerships and individuals. We’re starting with individuals, which will allow you to store, share and sign documents with your personal and sole trader clients, all through the same personal workspace that gives them access to their trusts and companies. Planned enhancements include document packs, surveys and access to a private vault. All of this will soon be available at just $5 per user, per annum (plus GST).
We didn’t plan to create a branded client portal so soon, but….
A big firm really wanted our flexible signing and features, over the other portal options available to them – so we created one! With our new support for individuals as clients (see above) you can now offer them a branded portal experience. This builds on their personal workspace to add your firm’s branding, news feeds, contact information and profiles of personal advisors. This is made available at an additional $100/pa per advisor.
To join a demonstration webinar or for a demonstration at your office, send an email to email@example.com with ‘Portal’ in the subject line and we’ll be in touch to arrange it.

A better view of your clients and their entities
We know it’s common for a trust to own shares in a company, or for company ‘A’ to own shares in company ‘B’, or for Sam to be a company director as well as being a trustee. As our products can manage trusts, companies, individuals, and soon also partnerships and JV’s, we’re making it easier for you to see all the entities your clients are involved with, and easier to navigate between them. This will be rolled out in April.
