Companyworks is here

We soft-launched Companyworks earlier this month to meet the needs of firms seeking a modern, comprehensive company management and governance system that can also be opened up to other users.
 
Set-up is easy. A 10-second import from the Companies Office brings in the company details, including the address, incorporation date, filing date, company and NZ business numbers, director’s names and addresses, shareholding details and every document filed with the Companies Office.
 
From there, other information can be added and reminders set. There is a shared minute book and comprehensive document management system with all the features of Trustworks, including digital and/or manual signing and approvals, search functions plus 184 precedents, checklists, workflows and certificates that auto-merge with the company details.
 
The shareholding management system lets you create and manage different classes of shares and treasury stock, undertake splits and buy-backs, and more.  
 
There is also the ability to create, maintain and set tasks from registers for interests, risks and different types of assets.     
 
A single login provides a user access to all the trusts and companies they’re involved with. Even if you’re using Companyworks without full client access, clients can approve, sign and update their details at no extra charge.

Help to load

We know that when you decide to use Trustworks or Companyworks, you first face the task of getting information and documents into the system.
 
We’re here to make it easy.
 
As well as providing imports from other systems, we’ve been busy identifying the best document scanning services and outsourcing help, for loading trust details and uploading and labelling documents.
 
We also have a Fuji Xerox – Solution Builder integration rolling out soon, allowing users to scan documents directly into Trustworks or Companyworks. Integrations with other copier brands are to follow.

Stuck for words?

Lots of firms are making the use of Trustworks mandatory to improve management and ensure they have oversight of what all parties involved have been doing.

We're changing our company name
 

Now that we’ve launched Companyworks, it didn’t seem right to have Trustworks as both the name of our company and one of our productsSo we’re changing our holding company name to Connectworks from 1 NovemberWe’ll advise more details at a later stage regarding any changes to login details. 

 


New features

We’ve launched My Home for users to easily manage their trust and company tasks.My Home features include approvals and signings, invitations and reminders that are now shown by task type (e.g. gifting or suri juris dates) in a calendar or specified period. An enhanced Recent Activity view replaces the annual review download from within a trust, as well as showing activity for all entities the user is involved with.
 
Corporate trustee company details can now be imported from Companies Office.
 
Coming up in the next few days is our Minute-Builder, which will allow you to select and merge minutes and paragraphs for minutes as required. We are also working on integrated workflows with multi-party task-setting.
 
We’re also adding 17 estate precedents, which will auto-merge with estate details, to the 86 trust precedents currently contained.
